Extended Holiday Return Policy

  • Our extended holiday return policy is now in effect—if you make a purchase between November 1 and December 31, you have until January 31, 2024 to make a return or exchange.

What is the status of my return & refund?

  • Returns can take up to 10 business days to process, and then once processed, your refund can take another 2-7 business days. We do our best to process returns and refunds quickly! If you have any questions, please send us an email at

Can I return Final Sale Items?

  • Items marked as “Final Sale” on our website are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. By purchasing these items, you acknowledge and accept that they cannot be returned for a refund or exchanged for another product, unless there is a manufacturing defect or an error on our part. We strongly encourage you to review the product details, sizing, and any available information before making a final sale purchase. Please contact our customer support team if you have any questions or concerns about a “Final Sale” item prior to making your purchase. Your satisfaction is important to us, and we are here to assist you in any way we can.

Where do you ship?

  • We ship to the 48 contiguous U.S. states. We’re not currently able to ship to Alaska, Hawaii, or internationally.

Do you ship to APO, FPO, or P.O. Boxes?

Do you offer free shipping?

  • We do offer free standard shipping on orders over $35.

How long will my order take to arrive?

  • Orders usually take 1-2 business days to process in our warehouse, and shipping time will vary depending on shipping address and speed, but in general should take 2-7 business days. 
  • *During the holiday season, orders can take up to 5 business days to process in our warehouse and 2-10 business days in transit.

Do you offer expedited shipping?

  • We do not offer expedited shipping at this time.

What shipping carrier do you use?

  • The shipping carrier depends on the item being shipped and the shipping location, but we usually partner with FedEx, UPS, and USPS.

What is my tracking number?

  • Your tracking number is emailed to you once your order ships out from our warehouse. Tracking numbers can take up to 24 hours to update once your order is with the carrier. If you’re having any trouble locating your tracking number, please send us an email at and we’ll gladly help you!

My order arrived damaged. What should I do?

What forms of payment do you accept?

Where are your products made?

  • GIR products are designed in New York and manufactured in China.

What are GIR products made of?

  • We use 100% platinum-cured, pharmaceutical grade silicone, nylon fiberglass, and stainless steel. 

Does the silicone contain any chemicals or toxins?

  • Our pharmaceutical-grade, platinum-cured silicone is independently tested within the required parameters of the FDA and LFGB. Our products are BPA- and BPS-free, and free from chemicals, toxins, and heavy metals. The platinum-curing process does not use or create any chemicals or chemical byproducts.

Are GIR products antimicrobial?

  • Yes, the unibody construction ensures the tools don’t catch any food or oil particulates; there are no bacteria-trapping seams or holes as in two-piece designs. As well, we use a high-pressure platinum-curing process that limits the silicone’s porosity, making our products well-suited to most commercial and biologically-sensitive applications, and resistant to fungal and bacterial buildup when properly cleaned and stored.

What is the heat rating for GIR products?

  • Our silicone products are heat-proof up to 464F, which means the silicone can be exposed to temperatures from 1F to 464F for extended periods of time without damage. They are heat-resistant to 550F, which means the silicone can be exposed to temperatures from 464F to 550F for short, intermittent periods of time without damage.

Are GIR products dishwasher safe?

  • Yes, GIR products are safe to use in the dishwasher, oven, fridge, and microwave to the heat rating.. We recommend placing the products on the top rack and keeping them away from the machine’s heating element and sharp objects. While our tools are heat-proof to 464F, temperatures and intensities vary based on the make and model of dishwasher, and direct contact with the heating element can result in damage to the silicone.

How can I remove stains from my tools?

  • While our platinum-cured silicone is antimicrobial and resistant to stains and odors, some foods such as tomato or turmeric stain materials easily. It's best to wash tools as soon as possible after use, even if that's just a quick rinse to get rid of food debris and oils.

  • For stains, we recommend treatment with a few dishwasher cycles and a good scrub with a non-abrasive cleaner, such as baking soda with lemon juice, or Barkeeper’s Friend. You can also soak the tools in equal parts water and white vinegar for a few hours or even overnight, then scrub with a non-abrasive cleaner or soap and hot water.

  • If these gentler methods don’t help, a low concentration of hydrogen peroxide or bleach (approximately 3%) in water will break down the compounds in the stain without harming the silicone. However, if using this method, the tools should be washed thoroughly with soap and hot water afterwards.

I purchased a bundle. Can I return or exchange just one of the items?

  • Unfortunately, not. Our bundles are sold as a whole unit and can’t be split for returns or exchanges.

Do you offer a warranty?

  • We don’t offer a warranty, but we take pride in the products we create and sell and want you to be happy. If any issues arise, please reach out to us at and we’ll do our best to make it right. 


Do you offer a discount on first orders?

  • Yes! We offer 10% off first orders for newsletter subscribers. The discount is valid only on full priced items, cannot be combined with other discounts and must be redeemed within 30 days.  

I forgot to apply my discount. Can you retroactively apply it?

  • We’d be happy to! Just send an email to with the discount you intended to use and we’ll go from there.
